ASELSAN Completes First Phase of Major Defense Facility Tender in Ankara

Turkey’s leading defense industry company ASELSAN has completed the first phase of the tender process for its major new facility in Ankara. The tender, organized by Emlak Konut, saw participation from a total of 10 firms.

The new facility aims to significantly enhance ASELSAN’s capacity to develop and manufacture advanced technological products. The Ankara region, where the project is to be located, is considered a strategic center for the defense industry.

Participating companies submitted proposals to construct a modern and efficient facility to meet ASELSAN’s needs. Following this phase, further rounds and evaluations will be conducted to select the collaborating firm.

Once established, the facility will strengthen ASELSAN’s leading position in the Turkish defense sector. The advanced technology plant will accelerate domestic production initiatives and bolster Turkey’s competitive edge internationally.
