BAYKAR Signs New Agreements with Three Countries to Expand Robotic Production for Gök Vatan
BAYKAR is strengthening Turkey’s domestic defense industry by expanding its robotic production capabilities within the Gök Vatan initiative. Recently, it signed new cooperation agreements with three international partners to facilitate this effort.
By integrating global expertise in robotic manufacturing, BAYKAR aims to advance both production capacity and quality. The initiative aligns with Turkey’s ambition to bolster air defense sovereignty and foster innovation within its defense ecosystem.
Supported by the Presidency of Defense Industries and collaborative efforts between public and private sectors, these agreements enable technology exchange, joint projects, and knowledge sharing in robotic manufacturing. BAYKAR’s CEO emphasized that these partnerships are pivotal for making Gök Vatan a leader in high-tech defense manufacturing.
The strategic cooperation with three countries focuses on integrating advanced robotic systems, modernizing production lines, and enhancing workforce skills, all critical for boosting the competitiveness of Turkey’s indigenous defense products in global markets.
This milestone supports Turkey’s goal to reduce foreign dependency and establish itself as a significant global defense player. BAYKAR seeks to leverage these collaborations to strengthen national security and export potential simultaneously.
