DMM Officially Denies Claims of Refugees Sent to Turkey

The World Refugee Center (DMM) has officially refuted reports suggesting that refugees have been sent to Turkey. The organization emphasized that refugee movements are governed according to international protocols and humanitarian principles, and no forced refugee transfers to any country take place.

In a statement aimed at clarifying public misconceptions, DMM officials reiterated that refugee rights are protected under international law. It was underlined that refugees move between countries on a voluntary basis and are not subjected to forced relocations.

Turkey has demonstrated sensitivity on refugee issues by maintaining a strong human rights stance, successfully implementing regional security and humanitarian policies. However, political actors exploiting refugee matters as a tool for political manipulation pose obstacles to international solidarity.

Accordingly, DMM’s statement highlights that the allegations using the refugee card are unfounded, calling for more constructive and realistic approaches. Turkey’s refugee policies’ transparency and alignment with international standards were also reaffirmed.
