F-16s Empowered with HAVELSAN’s Indigenous Digital Brain in Turkey

In a significant stride for Turkey’s defense industry, HAVELSAN has introduced an indigenous digital brain system integrated into the F-16 fighter jets operated by the Turkish Air Force. This advancement transforms the F-16s into more autonomous, technologically advanced platforms with enhanced operational capabilities.

The digital brain system enables rapid data exchange with the aircraft’s on-board systems and supports pilots by analyzing complex combat scenarios for informed decision-making. Beyond merely serving as flight vehicles, these jets now possess smart capabilities to effectively counter diverse threats in dynamic air and ground environments.

Developed with domestic technology, HAVELSAN’s system maintains NATO interoperability standards while reducing reliance on foreign technologies.
