HÜRJET Achieves Milestone with Indigenous Software Exported to Europe

HÜRJET, a flagship project of the Turkish aerospace industry developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), has recently marked a new success in its journey. The jet’s software systems were wholly designed and integrated by domestic engineers, reinforcing its technological independence. This advancement has led to notable demand and export activities in Europe.

The initial exports to European countries boost the prestige of Turkey’s defense industry on the international stage. HÜRJET’s unique design combined with its locally developed software infrastructure elevates aircraft performance while optimizing maintenance and operational costs.

TUSAŞ’s CEO highlighted, “Through the HÜRJET project, we are committed to both advancing domestic technology and achieving our export goals. The demand from Europe validates the quality and reliability of the Turkish defense industry.” This success opens doors for new collaborations in defense and sets a positive precedent for future projects.

Focusing on the light attack and training aircraft segment, HÜRJET aims to extend Turkey’s aerospace capabilities globally. The first export to Europe stands as a concrete testament to the success of Turkey’s indigenous defense initiatives.
