Indigenous DENİZHAN-76 Naval Gun Delivered for AKDENİZ Frigate

Turkey’s defense industry continues to strengthen through domestic production and cutting-edge technology. In line with this, the indigenous naval gun DENİZHAN-76, specially developed for AKDENİZ-class frigates, has been officially handed over to the Turkish Naval Forces.

Designed and manufactured under ASELSAN’s leadership, the DENİZHAN-76 offers superior firing capabilities and advanced target tracking systems, reflecting state-of-the-art engineering.

This naval gun enhances the combat capabilities of the AKDENİZ frigates significantly. Developed with national technology, the system delivers high performance and reliability, underscoring Turkey’s commitment to self-sufficiency in defense equipment.

Coordinated by the Presidency of Defense Industries, the project has meticulously followed indigenous production standards, prioritizing the operational needs of the Turkish Armed Forces.
