Minister Kacır: Turkey Achieves Unmatched Export Capacity in Defense Industry
Turkey’s Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, emphasized the country’s rising success in defense industry exports. He noted that Turkey is passing a crucial turning point, becoming a more competitive player in the global defense market.
Kacır pointed out that Turkey has reached a level in defense exports that no other country has achieved, thanks to significant investments in domestic and national technologies. “Turkey is no longer only securing its own defense but also providing advanced technology products that enhance the security of allied nations,” he stated.
He highlighted the prominent role of pioneering companies such as Baykar, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, and TUSAŞ, whose unmanned aerial vehicles, radar systems, missile technologies, and electronic warfare solutions are in high demand worldwide. The minister further assured that state support to boost exports will continue.
With its strategic location and robust production infrastructure, Turkey continues to make a difference in the defense industry. Kacır expressed confidence in achieving even higher export figures and advancing new technological milestones in the near future.
