Turkey’s Defense and Aerospace Exports Surpass $1.2 Billion in March 2026

In March 2026, Turkey’s defense and aerospace sector saw a marked increase in export revenues compared to prior months. The surge was driven by high demand for domestically produced, indigenous technologies on international markets.

Key players such as Baykar, ASELSAN, and ROKETSAN, alongside other partner companies, successfully delivered substantial quantities of products primarily to NATO member states and other strategic partners. Baykar’s unmanned aerial vehicles and ASELSAN’s communication systems attracted considerable attention.

Haluk Görgün, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), reported that exports surpassed $1.2 billion in March alone, emphasizing the importance of sustaining this growth trajectory. He highlighted that new contracts and international agreements are positively contributing to Turkey’s export performance.

The Turkish defense and aerospace industry continues to enhance its global competitiveness through technological innovation and strategic partnerships, simultaneously providing significant economic benefits to the country.
