Leading Turkish aerospace and defense company TUSAŞ has shared promising updates regarding its flagship projects ANKA-3 and KAAN. Mehmet Demiroğlu, the company’s CEO, confirmed key delivery timelines for these cutting-edge platforms.

The ANKA-3 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is set for delivery this year, marking another milestone in Turkey’s indigenous UAV capabilities. Equipped with advanced domestic technologies, ANKA-3 is designed to enhance the Turkish Armed Forces’ reconnaissance and surveillance capacity.

Furthermore, the National Combat Aircraft (NCA) project, known as KAAN, is progressing rapidly with delivery expected in 2028. This project is a cornerstone of Turkey’s strategic air defense ambitions, poised to significantly boost the nation’s indigenous air combat capabilities.

These projects underscore Turkey’s commitment to self-reliance in defense technology and manufacturing. As TUSAŞ advances the development and deployment of ANKA-3 and KAAN, Turkey strengthens its position in the global defense industry while securing its ‘blue homeland’ airspace.
