TUSAŞ CEO Demiroğlu Updates on KAAN and ANKA-3 Projects’ Progress

Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil, CEO of Turkey’s leading aerospace company TUSAŞ, shared updates on two critical projects: the KAAN fighter aircraft and the ANKA-3 unmanned aerial vehicle. He noted that software and simulation development for KAAN is accelerating and integration is expected to commence in the upcoming months.

Additionally, Kotil mentioned that test flights of the indigenous ANKA-3 UAV are progressing successfully with ongoing efforts to enhance its autonomous mission capabilities. The significance of these projects in strengthening Turkey’s defense self-sufficiency was reiterated.

He pointed out that both projects are anticipated to undergo major testing and certification phases by 2025, underlining their role in enabling Turkey’s high-tech defense production goals while reducing reliance on foreign suppliers.
