TUSAŞ CEO Mehmet Demircioğlu Announces Delivery Goals for KAAN Fighter Jet
Turkey’s indigenous combat aircraft project, KAAN, is progressing steadily towards its first delivery milestone. TUSAŞ CEO Mehmet Demircioğlu shared significant insights on the development stage and delivery targets for KAAN.
He confirmed that prototype manufacturing and testing phases are advancing according to schedule, with the first deliveries set to commence soon. As a state-of-the-art platform built with domestic technology, KAAN is poised to play a pivotal role in modernizing the Turkish Air Force.
Emphasizing the program’s contribution to Turkey’s strategic defense autonomy, Demircioğlu highlighted ongoing collaborations and accelerated R&D efforts.
