TUSAŞ CEO Mehmet Demiroğlu Updates on KAAN and ANKA-3 Defense Projects

Mehmet Demiroğlu, CEO of TUSAŞ, shared the recent progress on key defense programs including the KAAN National Combat Aircraft and the ANKA-3 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. According to Demiroğlu, the KAAN project is advancing as scheduled, with new prototypes set to undergo test flights later this year.

He emphasized that KAAN represents a significant leap in Turkey’s aviation and defense capabilities, highlighting the use of indigenous technologies and national software that reduce dependency on external systems.

Regarding the ANKA-3 UAV, Demiroğlu noted considerable advancements, with the integration of next-generation autonomous systems and AI-powered mission planning software nearing completion. The ANKA-3 is expected to excel in reconnaissance, surveillance, and strike missions.
