TUSAŞ Delivers GÖKBEY Helicopter into Turkish Armed Forces Inventory

The indigenous GÖKBEY helicopter, developed and produced by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), has been officially inducted into the Turkish Armed Forces’ inventory. This delivery underscores Turkey’s advances in local defense and aerospace technology while enhancing the military’s operational strength.

Designed as a versatile multi-role platform fully equipped with advanced technologies, the GÖKBEY helicopter is capable of undertaking both military and civilian missions with high reliability and performance. Its development benefited significantly from TUSAŞ’s experience, extensive R&D, and engineering expertise.

By integrating GÖKBEY into its fleet, the Ministry of National Defense aims to bolster its air capabilities for internal security and cross-border operations, reflecting a significant success for Turkey’s domestic defense manufacturing initiatives.
